I lived in New Zealand for just over a year altogether. While there I was deeply moved by the influence of Maori culture on New Zealand's people. I made some very good friends and felt a reciprocal close connection with some people who on more than one occasion said we were Pounamu (Green Stone) meaning that our spirits are interwoven and connected. This song is a declaration of thanks for having such good people to feel connected to, throughout my life who I hold close to my heart.

Mr Upfull first whet his appetite for making noises as a young teenager, frequenting studios amongst the metal and punk scenes of Kuala Lumpur in the early 90's. At age 14 his father gave him a karaoke rig (complete with echo fx) his first taste of 'crafting' self made noises.
